All of my paintings are direct observations from places that I have been and images that capture my imagination. Whether that be the countryside and farm in West Lothian where I grew up, the West coast of Scotland, travels abroad or the East Lothian coastline, where I now live with my family. A selection of my paintings are pictured below. These all have a sense of space and are atmospheric in colour and scale. My themes most recently have been skies, sunsets, seascapes and landscapes. Acrylic paints are used on canvas. |
