Since leaving Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1995 with a Bachelor of Design Honours Degree in Ceramics, I have been producing and exhibiting my ceramics and paintings alongside teaching.

My work has taken me from the UK to New Zealand and Japan where I worked with the Japanese Potter Ryoji Koie. The ceramics and painting mirror my love of the diverse themes of nature mixed with ancient mythology and the Sea.

My work has been exhibited in many galleries throughout the UK, such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London to the Royal Museum of Scotland. It is also in private collections around the world from the Carribean, to Japan, New Zealand and the United States.

I currently teach ceramics at the Leith School of Art and Loretto School.
